Description:
At 611 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles northeast of Orange Cove, or 29 miles northeast of Visalia,
moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Grant Grove, Crystal Springs Campground, Pinehurst, Yokuts Valley,
Park Ridge, Azalea Campground, Sunset Campground, Hume Lake, and
Grant Grove Visitor Center.
Instruction:
