The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has extended
the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Laurens County in upstate South Carolina...
* Until 930 PM EDT.
* At 716 PM EDT, Rainfall this afternoon into this evening across
Laurens County has been between 3 and 5 inches. Doppler radar
indicated heavy tropical showers expanding in coverage from the
south. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly, especially from around greater Clinton to Laurens and
within the Little River basin.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
