Transylvania County in western North Carolina... Northern Greenville County in upstate South Carolina... Northeastern Oconee County in upstate South Carolina... Northwestern Pickens County in upstate South Carolina... * Until 100 AM EDT. * At 758 PM EDT, Moderate to heavy rainfall through the day has resulted in between 3 and 6 inches of rain across the area. An area of moderate to at times heavy rain is lifting north across the area and will result in additional flooding issues, especially along the Blue Ridge escarpment. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
