Hart County in northeastern Georgia... Stephens County in northeastern Georgia... * Until 700 AM EDT. * At 316 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across northeast Georgia. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible as tropical rainbands lift northward. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar.
