* At 527 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches
of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches
in 2 hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain from the core of
Tropical Storm Helene.
