Iredell County in the piedmont of North Carolina...
* Until 130 PM EDT.
* At 1117 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Statesville, Mooresville, Davidson, Troutman, Stony Point,
Catawba, Harmony, Love Valley, Lake Norman State Park, Lookout
Shoals Lake, Lake Norman, Turnersburg, Scotts, Cool Springs, Olin,
Doolie and Union Grove.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
