* WHAT...Nuisance flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of western North Carolina, including the following counties, Henderson and Polk and upstate South Carolina, including the following county, Greenville. * WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated, including the North Pacolet River, Green River, and their tributaries. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 201 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall will be light this morning, but runoff from the earlier rainfall will result in nuisance flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
