* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Georgia, including the following county, Rabun and upstate South Carolina, including the following county, Oconee. * WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 409 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area with localized rainfall totals around 3 inches in the advised area today. Monitor for elevated flows and/or out of bank conditions on select tributaties of the Upper Chattooga such as Warwoman Creek and the Chauga River. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
