* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Georgia, including the following
county, Rabun and upstate South Carolina, including the following
county, Oconee.
* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had
diminished in the advisory area but elevated runoff and local
out of bank conditions will linger in select tributaries of
Upper Chattooga such as Warwoman Creek and the Chauga River.

Westminster, Sky Valley, Tallulah Falls, Oconee State Park,
Tallulah Gorge State Park, Lake Hartwell, Long Creek,
Mountain Rest and Pine Mountain.

Instruction:
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
