* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following county, Barbour. * WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Some low-water crossings may become impassable. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1255 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eufaula, Osco, Richards Crossroads, Lakepoint Resort State Park and Baker Hill.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
