* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of Upstate South Carolina, including the following counties, Anderson, Greenville and Pickens. * WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 301 AM EDT, Training thunderstorms have produced heavy rainfall across the affected area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have already fallen, and additional rainfall is on the way. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Anderson, Easley, Clemson, Pickens, Homeland Park, Powdersville, Central, Northlake, Pendleton, Liberty, Norris, Six Mile, Lake Keowee, Keowee Toxaway State Park, Table Rock State Park, Anderson Airport, Jocassee Gorges, Lake Jocassee, Lake Hartwell and Caesars Head State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Your message should describe the specific location where impacts occurred and the depth of flooding observed. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
