* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the following counties, Burke, Caldwell and McDowell. * WHEN...Until 715 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 408 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Blowing Rock In Caldwell County, Table Rock, B.R. Parkway- Linville Falls To Grandfather, Grandfather Mountain State Park, Lake James State Park, Lake James, Edgemont, Collettsville, Globe and Upton. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
