Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of upstate South Carolina, including the
following counties, Oconee and extreme western Pickens.
* WHEN...Until 1045 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 447 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated approaching
thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall. Between 1 and 2
inches of rain have fallen previously, leaving the ground
saturated in many locations. Minor flooding is expected to
begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Park, Lake Keowee, Devils Fork State Park, Lake Hartwell,
Lake Jocassee, Tallulah Gorge State Park, Jocassee Gorges,
Gorges State Park, Mountain Rest, Oakway, Long Creek,
Townville, Fair Play and Bad Creek.

NWSGSP. Your message should describe the specific location where
impacts occurred and the depth of flooding observed.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
