Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the
following county, Rutherford.
* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Water over roadways possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 741 AM EDT, Gauge reports were indicating ongoing elevated
flows throughout the Upper Broad River basin. High river and
stream levels will continue all day and when heavy rain
redevelops, flash flood warnings may be needed. Watch for
flooding of low-lying areas downstream of the Lake Lure Dam
and select tributaries. Water levels will also be rising
along the Second Broad River so watch for developing above
bankfull conditions in the basin as well.

Bostic, Chimney Rock Village, South Mountains State Park,
Chimney Rock State Park, Bat Cave, Alexander Mills, Union
Mills, Sunshine, Green Hill, Thermal City, Harris, Shingle
Hollow, Caroleen, Henrietta and Cliffside.
