Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Georgia, including the following
counties, Burke, Columbia, Lincoln, McDuffie and Richmond and
central South Carolina, including the following counties, Aiken,
Edgefield and McCormick.
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 812 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

North Augusta, Grovetown, Evans, Martinez, Fort Eisenhower,
Augusta, Belvedere, Hephzibah, McCormick, Harlem, Riverwood,
Village Plaza Shopping Center, Augusta Mall, J. Strom
Thurmond Dam, Clarks Hill Recreation Area, Appling, Daniel
Field, Augusta National Golf Club, Summerville and South
Augusta.
