* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the
following county, Jackson.
* WHEN...Until 100 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 901 AM EDT, High amounts of runoff will continue to occur
throughout the Tuckasegee Headwaters through midday. If
heavier and/or more intense rain develops, a flood or flash
flood warning may be needed.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cashiers, Lake Glenville, B.R. Parkway-Balsam Gap To Black
Balsam Area, Black Balsam Area, B.R. Parkway-Black Balsam To
Mount Pisgah, Tuckasegee, Wolf Mountain, Sapphire and
Whiteside Mountain.
