Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of upstate South Carolina, including the
following county, Spartanburg.
* WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 343 PM EDT, Rainfall countywide continues to accumulate,
around 2 to 2.5 inches. The threat for heavy tropical
showers will continue to increase into early evening and this
advisory may need to be upgraded to a Flash Flood Warning.
Continue to watch for developing stream and river flooding
throughout the North Pacolet and Tyger River drainages
including greater Spartanburg.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
