* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of upstate South Carolina, including the following counties, Cherokee and York. * WHEN...Until 700 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 105 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Gaffney, York, Cowpens, Blacksburg, Sharon, Hickory Grove, Mcconnells, Smyrna, Kings Mountain State Park, Cherokee Falls, Kings Creek, Draytonville, Saratt, Bullock Creek, Bethany and Thicketty. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
