* WHAT...Flooding impacts continue following intense rainfall during Tropical Storm Helene. * WHERE...Northwestern Burke and Western Caldwell Counties, North Carolina. * WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding remains in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water may still cover some roadways. River or stream flows remain elevated but are receding and should drop below flood stage by this evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 750 AM EDT, Emergency management reported flood impacts persist in the vicinity of Wilson Creek and the Johns River, but have diminished in magnitude since Friday evening, and is no longer considered an emergency. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Table Rock, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain State Park, Edgemont, Collettsville, Globe, Jonas Ridge, Oak Hill, Upton, and a portion of the B.R. Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous when stream flows are elevated. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
