* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following county, Trinity. * WHEN...Until 430 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 213 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Rainfall rates are heavy, up to 0.3 inch per hour and rising snow levels and snow melt will increase minor flooding chances. The flooding risk may increase later and today and tonight. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hayfork, Weaverville, Willow Creek, Peanut, Forest Glen, Ruth, Big Bar, Hyampom, Junction City, Helena, Douglas City, Del Loma, Burnt Ranch, Salyer, Zenia and Lewiston. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
