* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest North Carolina, including the
following counties, Cherokee and Clay and east Tennessee,
including the following counties, Blount, Monroe and Polk.
* WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many
areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1132 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area.

Andrews, Murphy, Ducktown, Hayesville, Unaka, Marble,
Hiawasse Dam, Violet, Brasstown, Citico, Culberson, Coker
Creek, Hot House, Tusquitee, Tariffville, Turtletown, Topton,
Citico Beach, Talassee and William L. Davenport Refuge.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
