Additional information is available at weather.gov/atlanta. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Oconee River at Milledgeville. * WHEN...From late tonight to late Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Moderate flooding begins and expands further into the woodlands and pastures along the river. Fishing Creek continues to back up and spread further into woodland areas and covers some roads in low lying areas. Tanyard Branch Stream continues to flood. Sinclair Dam will likely have five gates open to reach this height. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 11.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 31.4 feet early Saturday morning.
