Flood Warning for the following rivers in Georgia...
Nancy Creek at Johnson Ferry Road at Chamblee affecting DeKalb
and Fulton Counties.
For the Nancy Creek...including Chamblee, Atlanta, Atlanta...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Nancy Creek at Johnson Ferry Road at Chamblee.
* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Minor flooding continues of woodlands and
athletic fields upstream and downstream from the gage on Johnson
Ferry Road. The water will begin to flow over the pedestrian and
vehicular bridges to the visitor parking lots on the Marist High
School campus. The student parking lot will begin to flood. Minor
flooding of residential yards will continue downstream to
Rickenbacker Drive.
