For the Nancy Creek...including Chamblee, Atlanta, Atlanta...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Nancy Creek at Rickenbacker Drive at Atlanta. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Moderate flooding occurs. Widespread flooding of residential yards and property occurs upstream and downstream from the gage on Rickenbacker Drive. The water will begin to enter crawl spaces and walkout basements of homes on East Powder Horn Road and Hitching Post Trail around 1.5 miles upstream...along Rickenbacker Way near the gage...and out buildings on Fairfield Drive around 2 miles downstream. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:15 PM EDT Thursday was 12.4 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage to 10.7 feet just after midnight tonight.
