...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia... Turkey Creek at Byromville affecting Dooly County. For the Flint River Basin...including Lovejoy, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Americus, Peachtree City, Woolsey, Sharpsburg, Peachtree City, Peachtree City, Senoia, Griffin, Griffin, Orchard Hill, Thomaston, Molena, Carsonville, Montezuma, Byromville... Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Turkey Creek at Byromville. * WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Moderate flooding begins. Widespread flooding expands into the woodlands upstream and downstream of the stream gage on Georgia Highway 90. Creek access roads will be flooded and the water level reaches the bottom of the bridge. The bridge may become closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 11.8 feet tomorrow afternoon.
