* WHAT...Flooding along Gills Creek will continue into the early morning hours from Forest Acres downstream to I-77 and Bluff Road. Gills Creek at Devine Street has crested, and while it is expected to fall over the next several hours, additional rainfall overnight may keep flows elevated for a longer period of time before waters are able to recede. * WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the following county, Richland. * WHEN...Until 1230 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1029 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
