Line Creek below Lake McIntosh near Peachtree City affecting
Coweta and Fayette Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Line Creek below Lake McIntosh near Peachtree City.
* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
begins in the woodlands along the creek downstream from the gage
on the tailwater side of Lake McIntosh Dam. Low lying portions on
the west side of the Falcon Field Airport property will begin to
flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 10.2 feet.
- Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
However, additional rainfall is expected through the morning
which will likely cause additional rises.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
