Flood Warning for the following rivers in Georgia...
Pates Creek near Flippen affecting Henry County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Pates Creek near Flippen.
* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
begins in the fields and woodlands along the creek upstream and
downstream from the stream gage at Flippen Road. The water level
will reach the top portion of the concrete culvert with maximum
flow through it.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 12.2 feet.

However, additional rainfall is expected through the morning
which will likely cause additional rises.
