Flood Warning for the following rivers in Georgia...
Line Creek near Peachtree City affecting Fayette and Coweta
Counties.
For the Flint River Basin...including Lovejoy, Peachtree City,
Fayetteville, Americus, Peachtree City, Woolsey, Sharpsburg,
Peachtree City, Peachtree City, Senoia, Griffin, Griffin, Orchard
Hill, Thomaston, Molena, Carsonville, Montezuma, Byromville...
Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Line Creek near Peachtree City.
* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
begins in the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream
from the gage just below Georgia Highway 54. This includes the
residential yards on Wynnmeade Parkway around Wynns Pond just
north of the highway. The significant flow into Lake McIntosh
causes low portions of the Planterra Ridge Golf Course to flood.
