Ochlockonee River near Havana (US 27) affecting Leon and Gadsden Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ochlockonee River near Havana (US 27). * WHEN...From Monday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Water spreads out across the flood plain on both banks of the river further inundating wooded areas. The boat ramp at Iron Bridge Road (CR-153) in Gadsden County is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:15 AM EDT Friday the stage was 21.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 25.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall to 24.5 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will rise above flood stage late Monday morning to 29.4 feet Tuesday evening. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 29.5 feet on 04/07/1960. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
