* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following county, Cabarrus. * WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 426 PM EDT, Flooding along the Rocky River will linger into the night. Due to excessive ongoing runoff the river had risen above flood stage. The river level at the gage near the Irish Buffalo Creek confluence could rise to around 24 feet. Parts of Cox Mill Road, Route 200, Mount Pleasant Road, and Bonanza Drive may be flooded. Dutch Buffalo Creek may be flooding Bowman Barrier Rd. Other select tributataries in the Harrisburg area will remain flooded in low lying areas. - Some locations that may experience flooding include parts of...
