* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of central, northwest, and western Virginia, including the following counties, in central Virginia, Albemarle, Greene and Nelson. In northwest Virginia, Page. In western Virginia, Augusta and Rockingham. * WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings could be inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 507 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is expected to continue in the warned area as creeks and streams rise out of their banks. The Nelson County 911 Center reported a few roads closed due to high water flowing over them near the Blue Ridge Mountains. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
