Additional information is available at weather.gov/atlanta. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sweetwater Creek upstream of Railroad at Austell. * WHEN...From this evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 23 feet, Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding expands further into the woodlands...fields and parks upstream and downstream from the gage near the railroad bridge parallel to Joe Jerkins Boulevard. The water level will reach the bottom of the railroad bridge. Most of Legion Park will be flooded with up to 6 feet of water. Portions of Garrett Road...Westside Road and Stovall Road will be covered with 2 to 4 feet of water.
