duration for the following rivers in Georgia...
Yellow River at GA 124 near Lithonia affecting Gwinnett and
DeKalb Counties.
For the Yellow River Basin...including Lithonia...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring is forecast to continue.
* WHERE...Yellow River at GA 124 near Lithonia.
* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 17 feet, Minor flooding continues and expands further
into the woodlands near the river upstream and downstream from the
gage on Georgia Highway 124. Some flooding of backyards of homes
begin on Riveredge Cove...River Walk...Riverlake Way and Riverview
Court.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:01 PM EDT Friday the stage was 17.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this evening and continue falling to 9.8 feet tomorrow
morning.
- Flood stage is 15 feet.
