Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the
following county, Haywood.
* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water, as
well as lingering excessive flow on the lower Pigeon River.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 850 PM EDT, County Emergency Management had declared a
curfew from 9 pm to 6 am for the safety of first responders
and the general public. This is due to lingering road
closures, the threat of additional debris flows, as well as
downed trees, utility lines and building damage.
