Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville affecting Talbot, Taylor,
Upson and Crawford Counties.
For the Flint River Basin...including Carsonville...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville.
* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Moderate flooding begins. Access Road to
boat ramp and parking lot to boat ramp flood. In addition...
flooding of most of the land at the bend of the river upstream
develops.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 25.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.4
feet Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
