Towaliga River at GA 83 near Juliette affecting Monroe County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. This approaches the flood of
record.
* WHERE...Towaliga River at GA 83 near Juliette.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Minor flooding expands into woodlands and
fields upstream and downstream from the gage on Monticello Highway
or Georgia Highway 83. Portions of Byars Road and numerous
private access roads near the river will flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 17.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
