Wateree River Near Wateree River Nr. Camden affecting Kershaw
County.
Congaree River At Congaree River at Columbia affecting Lexington
and Richland Counties.
Pee Dee River At Pee Dee River at Cheraw affecting Marlboro and
Chesterfield Counties.
North Fork Edisto River At Orangeburg affecting Orangeburg County.
Saluda River At Saluda River at Chappells affecting Saluda,
Greenwood and Newberry Counties.
Savannah River at Augusta At Savannah River at Augusta affecting
Aiken and Richmond Counties.
Stevens Creek Near Modoc affecting Edgefield and McCormick
Counties.
Enoree River At Whitmire affecting Union and Newberry Counties.
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Carolina...
Congaree River At Congaree River at Congaree NP Near Gadsden
affecting Calhoun and Richland Counties.
Congaree River At Carolina Eastman affecting Calhoun, Lexington
and Richland Counties.
Wateree River At Lake Wateree affecting Lancaster, Fairfield and
Kershaw Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Pee Dee River at Pee Dee River at Cheraw.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, River bottomland downstream from cheraw
will begin to flood.
At 30.0 feet, The higher bank begins to flood. Large areas of
farmland and river bottomland near Cheraw will be flooded.
Portions of Riverside Park become flooded.
At 33.0 feet, Southeast of Wallace, water spreads onto Old River
Road between Community Road and Highway 912.
At 35.0 feet, Southeast of Wallace, Old River Road between
Community Road and Highway 912 will become flooded and may need to
be closed.
At 36.0 feet, Extensive overflow of the left bank will occur and
large areas of farmland near Cheraw will be flooded. Livestock and
farm equipment should be moved to higher ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 31.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 PM EDT Saturday was 31.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.5
feet early Monday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Most flooding deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive through a
flooded roadway or around barricades. Turn around, don't drown.
Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor
rising water levels and take action if necessary.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
