increased in duration for the following rivers in Georgia...
Little River near Hahira (SR 122) affecting Brooks and Lowndes
Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Little River near Hahira (SR 122).
* WHEN...From Sunday morning to Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 155.0 feet, In Lowndes County, water intrudes into
homes on Little River Road, Shiloh Rd, and Kendricks Circle. Water
begins to approach homes on Cowart Circle and Bird Hall Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 149.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 154.1 feet early Monday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 151.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
153.7 feet on 12/26/2014.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
