Withlacoochee River near Quitman (US 84) affecting Brooks and Lowndes Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Withlacoochee River near Quitman (US 84). * WHEN...From Monday evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 110.0 feet, In Lowndes County, Beaver Run Road, Spain Ferry Road, and Old Quitman Highway are flooded. Water will approach structures along Old Quitman Highway on the Brooks County side of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 93.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Monday evening and continue rising to a crest of 109.9 feet Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 104.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 110.0 feet on 03/11/2003. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
