Description:
At 130 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Rich Hill to 9 miles west of Nevada to
near Fort Scott. Movement was southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Nevada, Fort Scott, Sheldon, Walker, Schell City, Bronaugh,
Moundville, Richards, Milo, Deerfield, Metz, Harwood, Horton, and
Garland.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
southeastern Kansas...and southwestern and west central Missouri.
