Description:
* WHAT...Cluster of heavy rainfall associated with slow moving
thunderstorms will work over the area this evening. This could
lead to localized flooding caused by excessive rainfall.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the
following counties, Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan,
Simpson and Warren.
* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of
water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 244 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bowling Green, Glasgow, Russellville, Scottsville,
Morgantown, Brownsville, Plum Springs, Crestmoor, Mount
Victor and Memphis Junction.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
