At 906 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorm were
located across the Caribbean waters, from the Mona Channel, south of
Puerto Rico, and into the vicinity of Saint Croix. The storms are
moving toward the east at 10 to 15 knots.
Instruction:
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
