East central Sumter County in central South Carolina... * Until 200 PM EDT. * At 135 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles southwest of Woods Bay State Park, or 14 miles east of South Sumter, moving north at 25 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Lee, northeastern Clarendon and east central Sumter Counties, including the following locations...
