Effingham County in southeastern Georgia... * Until 1100 PM EDT. * At 1033 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over I-16/I-95 Interchange, moving northwest at 55 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Pooler, Godley Station, Savannah International Airport, I-16/I-95 Interchange, Downtown Savannah, Hunter Army Airfield, Rincon, Garden City, Port Wentworth and Bloomingdale. This includes the following highways... I-16 between mile markers 153 and 163. I-95 in Georgia between mile markers 96 and 108.
