Jasper County in southeastern South Carolina... * Until 1145 PM EDT. * At 1057 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Garnett, moving northwest at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Estill, Furman, Scotia, Shirley, Garnett, Robertville, Brighton, Cosby and De Loach.

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building away from windows.
