Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina... * Until 530 AM EDT. * At 453 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Capers Inlet, moving north at 70 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Mount Pleasant, Isle Of Palms, Awendaw, Capers Inlet, Garris Landing, Mount Pleasant Regional Airport, Price Inlet, Whitehall Terrace, Capers Island and Mount Pleasant Hospital.
