Description:
* WHAT...North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
* WHERE...Southern Cook and Southern Lake Counties. This includes
the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a 50 to 70 percent chance for wind
gusts up to 60 mph for southern Cook County, and a 40 to 60%
chance for wind gusts up to 60 mph or southern Lake County. If
wind forecasts continue to trend stronger, a High Wind Warning may
be needed.
