* WHAT...North winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected in Chaves county with easterly winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph in the Upper Tularosa Valley. * WHERE...Upper Tularosa Valley, including Carrizozo and Chaves County Plains, including Roswell. * WHEN...Until 3 PM MDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs may be blown down. Expect strong crosswinds on area roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will occur below canyons from near Abo Pass to the White Sands Missile Range. Areas of blowing dust may limit visibility at times.
