Description:
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 9
inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Alger, Luce, and Northern Schoolcraft Counties.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A lull in the snowfall may occur late tonight
into early Wednesday morning but will become heavier again during
the morning hours. Patchy blowing snow is expected on Wednesday,
especially near the lakeshore.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power
outages.
